SUGAR KS-801 and KS-802

  • Separates mono- and oligo-saccharides by combination of ligand exchange (Na+) and size exclusion mode

  • Only water is required for the analysis of neutral sugars

KS-803 to 804

  • Suitable for separation of polysaccharides by size exclusion mode

  • Can be used in combination with other columns e.g., KS-802 and KS-801

  • Only water is required for the analysis of neutral sugars

  • Fulfill USP L22 and L58 requirements

These columns are mainly used in routine quality controls in food analysis.

SUGAR KS-800 series is suitable to the analysis of polysaccharides. Calibration curves for KS-800 series using pullulan (polysaccahrid standard) are shown here. Besides KS-800 series, OHpak SB-800 HQ series and Asahipak GS-HQ series also can be used for the analysis of polysaccharides.

Alternatives

Besides SUGAR KS-800 series, OHpak SB-800 HQ series and Asahipak GS-HQ series also can be used for the analysis of polysaccharides.
 

For a better separation of monosaccharides, the SUGAR SP0810 (with Pb2+) or SUGAR SC1011 (with Ca2+) is recommended.

Instead of Ligand Exchange chromatography, sugars can also be separated with HILIC separation technique.
